Georgia Blueberry Lime “Mock-aritas"

I make these margaritas without the alcohol for my kiddos and they love them!  They are a delicious {and beautiful} boost of antioxidants.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups of ice
  • 1 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Georgia blueberries
  • sugar for rimming glasses
  • lime and blueberry garnishes {optional}
Directions:First, heat the water and mix with sugar to blend.  Allow the water to cool a bit.  Put first 5 ingredients into the blender.  Blend well.

Fill a shallow bowl with water and dip each glass straight down into the water to wet the rim. Pour some sugar onto a plate, then place wet rims into sugar.

Garnish drinks with lime slices and or whole Georgia blueberries. Serve and enjoy immediately.

(If you want to enjoy a REAL margarita, just add a splash of tequila with first 5 ingredients and blend well.)
